Pantallazo a la violencia de género: Redes sociales y ciberviolencia en relaciones sexo – afectivas entre adolescentes

Abstract

Este estudio busca explicar el rol de las redes sociales en la ciberviolencia de género en relaciones sexo-afectivas entre adolescentes de una institución educativa en San Juan de Lurigancho (Lima). Se realiza un estudio de caso cualitativo, utilizando un cuestionario descriptivo, grupos de discusión y entrevistas con estudiantes de cuarto de secundaria. El estudio concluye que los roles de género y los estereotipos, relacionados con las creencias sobre el amor romántico y el uso de las redes sociales por hombres y mujeres, contribuyen a normalizar la ciberviolencia. Se destaca la importancia de fortalecerla prevención de la violencia de género y promover la colaboración entre el MIMP y el MINEDU para abordar la violencia escolar con enfoque de género. Investigación ganadora del Concurso de Investigación Prevención de la Violencia de Género en el Perú, realizado en el marco del proyecto “Violencia contra las Mujeres: Fortaleciendo la Prevención desde la Academia” financiado por la Unión Europea y la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID), el Consorcio de Investigación Económica y Social (CIES) y el Grupo de Investigación en Estudios de Género de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).
