Eficacia de la Defensoría Municipal del Niño y del Adolescente (DEMUNA) del distrito de Independencia en la intervención frente al incumplimiento de la obligación alimentaria de los niños y adolescentes durante el año 1998

Abstract

El desarrollo de países con escasos recursos está íntimamente ligado al bienestar de los niños, niñas, y adolescente, así como a la activa participación de sus padres y de los adultos en el mismo; por ello es de vital importancia reforzar la inversión social, garantizar la igualdad de oportunidades y promover un desarrollo humano sostenible y sustentable. El objetivo de esta investigación es examinar la eficacia de la conciliación como medio alternativo de resolución de conflictos en la a Defensoría Municipal de los Niños y los Adolescentes (DEMUNA), frente al incumplimiento de las obligaciones alimentarias con los niños y adolescentes en la formulación de acuerdos sobre dichas obligaciones. Se tomará como referencia la DEMUNA en el distrito de Independencia durante el año 1998, a través del personal y usuarios del servicio. Este estudio se desarrolló como resultado del II Concurso Anual de Investigación CIES 2000, con el auspicio de la Agencia Canadiense para el Desarrollo Internacional (ACDI) y el Centro Internacional de Investigaciones para el Desarrollo (IDRC, por sus siglas en inglés).
