Desarrollo rural. Balance de investigación 2016-2021 y agenda de investigación 2021-2026

Abstract

El documento es una revisión bibliográfica sobre el desarrollo rural en el Perú (2016-2021) y una Agenda para la investigación del nuevo quinquenio; con énfasis en los temas que analizan los cambios en la ruralidad y su relación con el espacio urbano; la pobreza rural, las comunidades campesinas, y productores agrarios; la agro exportación y el enfoque de género; así como temas ambientales. Se revisan las principales políticas públicas para promover el desarrollo rural, discutiendo sus alcances y/o eventuales modificaciones. Finalmente, se sugieren preguntas para contribuir con el diseño de un nuevo paradigma que permita comprender la ruralidad y mejorar el impacto de las políticas públicas, orientadas a lograr el desarrollo económico y social de las familias campesinas. Este estudio se desarrolló como resultado del XXIII Concurso Anual de investigación CIES 2021-I y forma parte del compendio del Balance de Investigación 2016-2021 y Agenda de Investigación 2021-2026. Es auspiciado por la Fundación Manuel J. Bustamante de la Fuente, el Centro Internacional de Investigaciones para el Desarrollo (IDRC, por sus siglas en inglés) y el Consorcio de Investigación Económica y Social (CIES).
