Older People on the Labour Market in Bulgaria. Possibilities for Promoting Active Ageing

Abstract

The paper discusses the issue of the participation of elderly people on the labour market. Study and assessment of the situation in Bulgaria in this aspect are made. Some important problems and conclusions are drawn. On this basis and in accordance with the European lines, main directions for enhancing the so-called “active ageing” in the country are outlined.
