Abstract

Globalization, opening of the economies, the rise of internet economy and the high dynamics of the business relations, developing as a constantly increasing and ascending process, require the use of some new opportunities for increase of the effectiveness of the firms from the food industry in Bulgaria. On the road of the analysis of the production and marketing option of some industrial enterprises and through the prism of the re-engineering approach were revealed many problems in the food industry, as well as opportunities for their solving. The study outlines important ideas and develops some mechanisms for fastened development of the processes of the firms, as well as the environment, in which they act. An attempt for integrating the potential of the firms with the potential of the situation, in which they are revealed, is made. Based on this approach is formulated the thesis that the effectiveness of the firms from food industry can increase through binding their activity with the agriculture and tourism (including with the historic, spiritual, medical and cultural tourism). As a result a satisfaction of the increasing demand of high quality and various food products, spiritual and cultural values is achieved. The study makes an attempt to promote the idea of creation of a uniform national strategy, in which strategies of the agricultural, food industry, tourism and those of the spiritual and cultural development could be integrated. In this direction through the prism of the re-engineering approach are mentioned some main problems and opportunities for their solving in the market of buyout and of demand and in the inter-branch firm interaction.
