E.U.’s Strategy of Building a Knowledge Economy

Abstract

The European Union strategy for building knowledge-based economy includes a set of objectives, priority action areas, targets and measures to guide European policy for growth and employment. The European Union strategic objective is to become the most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy. In many fields of activity, economic too, knowledge is an important source of power, or, in other words, one of the main instruments of economic and social success. Knowledge must always be associated with mastering and anticipating changing phenomena and to the everywhere challenges.
