Gelişmekte Olan Ülkelerde Orta Gelir Tuzağı: Literatür Taraması

Abstract

This study was conducted in order to systematically examine the data obtained from these studies by examining the published studies on middle income trap in developing countries. A total of 105 publications related to subject were reached and of them, 31 were evaluated as part of the study according to inclusion criteria. Among the common structural characteristics of the countries that cannot pass from the middle income group to the high income group, low human capital, low R&G investments, insufficient physical and advanced infrastructure investments, high corruption, high inflation, high dependency ratio were determined. With the systematic review of the studies on the middle income trap in developing countries, the dynamics that will enable developing countries to reach high income group have been determined. These dynamics are expected to contribute to the framework of future studies and to determine the measures to be taken.
