Abstract

This paper explores the necessity and strategies for constructing a multifaceted teaching model to innovate the pedagogy of ecological environment functional materials. Traditional teaching paradigms in this field have certain limitations in terms of content breadth, methodological diversity, and practical training opportunities, which can create challenges in bridging theoretical knowledge with its real-world application. The proposed model integrates blended learning, project-based learning, interdisciplinary integration, and industry-academia collaboration, aligning with constructivist and blended learning theories. Case studies demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach in enhancing student engagement, practical skills, and overall academic performance. Although there are challenges such as resource allocation and varying levels of educator expertise, strategic measures, including infrastructure development and ongoing teacher training, are proposed to support effective implementation. The research highlights the potential of this model to bridge the gap between theory and practice, fostering a competent and adaptable workforce for the dynamic field of ecological environment functional materials.
