The research aims to study the educational function of judo, identify the cultural and moral values being developed and analyse the impact of the training process on the moral development of people. The paper uses an analytical methodology based on a review of scientific sources, surveys and research conducted among professionals and athletes. These data allow us to identify the importance of cultural and moral education in judo and the methods that contribute to its implementation. The comparative analysis of research shows the uniqueness of judo as a pedagogical system focused on personality development.
