Perspectives in the Management of the National Research and Innovation System Viewed in the Context of Digital Transformation

Abstract

The paper describes some elements, the consideration of which could contribute to shaping the vision on the need to realize the digitization process for the national research and innovation system, while also proposing structural organization ideas and operation principles of a single digital platform at country level, developed in this sense. The reasoning of these concerns is conditioned by the imperative of the transition of the specialized central authorities to a higher qualitative level in the decision-making process aimed at increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the scientific-didactic sector, using the opportunities offered by modern information and communication technologies.
