Proprietatea intelectuală – instrument de sporire a competitivităţii întreprinderilor mici și mijlocii

Abstract

În era globalizării şi a concurenţei internaţionale, potenţialul proprietăţii intelectuale de a genera venituri este de o importanţă majoră, deoarece, în activitatea comercială, obiectele de proprietate intelectuală (OPI) reprezintă instrumente forte de sporire a competitivităţii IMM-urilor. În acest context, atât întreprinderile mici și mijlocii, cât și întreprinderile mari, tind să investească tot mai mult în proprietatea intelectuală. În condiţiile unei concurenţe acerbe, proprietatea intelectuală constituie un instrument strategic, pe care pot să-l utilizeze întreprinderile, valorificându-și astfel inovaţiile și luptând împotriva contrafacerii. Deci, datorită proprietăţii intelectuale, întreprinderea poate avea doar beneficii: înregistrează profit și își îmbunătăţește semnificativ imaginea.
