Interferenţe între indicaţia geografică/denumirea de origine și marcă pentru obţinerea unui brand de succes

Abstract

Crearea, promovarea și menţinerea pe piaţă a unui brand autohton este adesea o sarcină dificilă pentru promotorii acestuia, mai ales că apariţia produselor cu indicaţie geografică protejată sunt la început de cale pe piaţa naţională. În acest articol autorii au relevat aspecte ce ţin de importanţa protecţiei proprietăţii intelectuale în viaţa unui brand prin protejarea concomitentă a indicaţiei geografice/denumirii de origine și a mărcii. Au fost reliefate punctele forte ale acestor mecanisme și posibilitatea consolidării brandului pe plan naţional și internaţional prin interferenţa înregistrării indicaţiei geografice/denumirii de origine și a mărcii, aducând exemple concrete de branduri care și-au asigurat succesul și longevitatea aplicând multipla protecţie.
