Problematica statisticii în comerţul internaţional cu bunuri și servicii culturale

Abstract

Autorul scoate în evidenţă considerentele de bază ce trebuie să guverneze elaborarea cadrului pentru statistică culturală, ţinându-se cont de faptul că datele existente cu privire la statistica culturală sunt nesistematizate și deseori nesigure. Deoarece este greu de elaborat un model unic pentru statistica culturală, atât din cauza diversităţii mari a produselor culturale, dar și a diferenţelor ce ţin de politicile culturale, la nivel internaţional se încearcă adaptarea standardelor existente la cerinţele actuale ale pieţei internaţionale. Interesul sporit pentru acest domeniu, atât al organizaţiilor internaţionale, cât și al sectorului privat, este determinat de creșterea volumelor comerţului intern și internaţional, ceea ce face ca sectorul cultural să fie perceput și ca o activitate economică profitabilă, nu doar ca un furnizor de valori spirituale
