Evaluarea competitivităţii Republicii Moldova în baza metodologiei Global Competitiveness Report

Abstract

În pofida abordării foarte frecvente a conceptului de competitivitate, definiţiile atribuite acesteia variază. Competitivitatea naţională reprezintă un set de instituţii, politici, factori, care determină nivelul productivităţii unei ţări şi un factor-cheie pentru asigurarea unei creşteri economice sustenabile şi sporirea bunăstării populaţiei (Global Competitiveness Report 2013–2014. World Economic Forum 2013). Actualitatea temei este determinată de angajamentul asumat de Republica Moldova prin semnarea Acordului de Asociere cu UE de a-şi ridica competitivitatea naţională la nivelul statelor europene prin implementarea Foii de Parcurs pentru Ameliorarea Competitivităţii. Scopul lucrării este evaluarea competitivităţii naţionale într-o perspectivă comparativă, în baza indicatorilor intermediari ai competitivităţii stabiliţi prin metodologia Global Competitiveness Report. Sunt trataţi indicatorii intermediari ai competitivităţii precum rentabilitatea, productivitatea, costurile de producţie etc., care contribuie la formarea indicatorilor finali ai competitivităţii naţionale: creşterea economică şi sporirea bunăstării populaţiei.
