Sistemul indicaţiilor geografice din Republica Moldova

Abstract

Cu toate că sistemul naţional de protecţie a indicaţiilor geografice este constituit deja în partea ce ţine de cadrul legal și instituţional, aplicarea practică a acestuia lasă mult de dorit, rezultatele obţinute până în prezent necorespunzând potenţialului real al Republicii Moldova în acest domeniu. Cauza acestei stări de lucruri rezidă în mare parte în informarea insuficientă a societăţii cu privire la avantajele oferite de utilizarea sistemului IG, dar și în complexitatea sistemului (producătorii sunt speriaţi de numărul de instituţii cu care urmează să interacţioneze, precum și de numărul de acţiuni pe care trebuie să le întreprindă). Explicaţiile pe marginea funcţionării sistemului indicaţiilor geografice din Republica Moldova sunt oferite de autor cu scopul depășirii celui de-al doilea impediment menţionat mai sus
