El crecimiento económico: estudio de convergencia regional en Colombia para los períodos 1970-2012

Abstract

En esta investigación se analiza el comportamiento del PIB per-cápita regional, con el fin de determinar las diferencias del crecimiento económico, a través de la identificación de procesos de convergencia económica. Este trabajo, basa la instrumentación de la medición económica a partir de la teoría por Barro Sala i Martin. En esta investigación, se evidencian los procesos de convergencia que han presentado las entidades territoriales, desde 1970 al año 2012. Entre los resultados más importantes se haya la evidencia de convergencia entre departamentos, los resultados confirman la existencia de convergencia absoluta para dos sub-periodos 1976-1982 y 1982-1988.
