Impacto inflacionario sobre los quintiles de ingreso en la Argentina para el período 2003-2012

Abstract

El presente artículo intenta analizar el impacto distributivo de la inflación para la sociedad argentina en el período comprendido entre el año 2003 y abril de 2012. Se pretende así ver qué estrato de la sociedad se ha visto más perjudicado por el aumento inflacionario de la última década y principalmente de los últimos años. El estudio llevado a cabo tiene en cuenta las diferencias en las canastas de consumo de los distintos quintiles así como las diferencias en las mediciones del índice general de precios entre las consultoras privadas y las elaboradas por el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos. Para tales propósitos, se construirá un Índice General de Precios por quintil y mediante un análisis econométrico se analizará la persistencia de un shock inflacionario sobre cada quintil.
