Modern Üretim Sistemlerinde SMED İle Hazırlık Sürelerinin İyileştirilmesine Yönelik Sanayi Uygulaması

Abstract

SMED, üretim süreçlerindeki kayıpları azaltmaya yönelik kullanılan etkin bir yöntem olup, üretim devam eden bir parçadan, diğer bir parçaya geçişte esneklik sağlamaktadır. Üretim sistemlerinde uzun süren hazırlık sürelerinin iyileştirilmesi çalışmaları sırasında sıkça kullanılan bir yöntem olan SMED ile gerçekleştirilen sanayi uygulamasında, otomotiv sektörüne bağlantı elemanlarını üreten bir yan sanayi işletmesinin atölye-depo işlemleri, kalıp değişimleri ve kalite onay süreleri ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmanın yürütüldüğü işletmenin üretim süreci örneği üzerinden hazırlık sürelerinin kısaltılması ile elde edilen kazanç ortaya çıkarılırken, SMED yöntemin önemine dikkat çekmek ve uygulamadaki kullanılabilirliği ile kullanım sıklığını ve küçük iyileştirmeler sonucu elde edilen kazanımları göstermek amaçlanmıştır. 10 gün boyunca işletmenin çeşitli bölümlerinden toplam 2348 dakikalık 12 adet hazırlık gözlemi yapılmıştır. İncelemeye alınan işlemlerin kayıp süreleri belirlenmiştir, işletmedeki kayıpların iyileştirilmesi için sunulan öneriler, önerilerin uygulanması sonucu toplam sürede görülen azalma ve bu azalmanın yanında süre kazancının işletmeye sağladığı fayda 531 dakika olup toplam gözlenen işlem süresinin %22’sine işaret etmektedir. Elde edilen bu fayda çalışmanın çıktısını oluşturmaktadır.
