Çalışma Ortamı Özelliklerinin Hekimlerin Görev Ve Bağlamsal Performansına Etkisi

Abstract

Çalışan kişiler hayatlarının büyük bir bölümünü işyeri ortamında geçirmektedir. İşyeri ortamının fiziksel, sosyal ve psikososyol özellikleri çalışanlar için önem arz etmektedir. Üretim ağırlıklı işlerde fiziksel çalışma ortamı özellikleri dikkat çekerken insan ilişkilerinin yoğun olduğu işlerde sosyal çalışma ortamı özellikleri ön plana çıkmaktadır. Çalışma ortamı bireyin iş hayatından mutluluk duymasına zemin hazırlamalıdır. Çalışan tatmini, bağlılığı, performansı çalışma ortamı ile ilişkilidir. Uygun olmayan çalışma ortamı özellikleri bireyler için olumsuz etkiler yaratabilmektedir. Bireysel performans, kurumsal amaçlarının gerçekleştirilmesinde bireylerin katkısını ifade etmektedir. İşletme dünyasındaki bir çok yenilik bireysel performansın arttırılarak kurumsal performansın yükseltilmesi amacını taşımaktadır. Son yıllarda görev performansının yanı sıra bağlamsal performans kavramı da değer kazanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada hekimlerin çalışma ortamı özelliklerine ilişkin algılarının görev ve bağlamsal performans üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmıştır. Çalışma, Adana ilindeki iki devlet hastanesinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Hekimlerden anket yöntemi ile elde edilen veriler uygun istatistiksel analizler kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda çalışma ortamı özelliklerinin hekimlerin görev ve bağlamsal performans algısı değişimi üzerinde etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir.
