Kobi’lerde Bilgi Teknolojilerinin Kullanımının Finansal Sorun Çözümüne Katkıları

Abstract

Finansal kurumlar, bilgi teknoloji sektörünün sağladığı inovasyon kabiliyetini, işbirliği imkânlarını ve rekabetçi yönlerini kullanarak, küresel rekabet şansını artırmaktadır. Bilgi teknolojileri ile tüm sektörler için katma değer üreten yenilikçi ürün, faaliyetler geliştirilerek ve ticarileştirilerek etkileşim zinciri oluşmaktadır. Bu teknoloji gerek finansal kurumlarda, gerek kurumun hizmet sunduğu müşterilerin tutumlarında kayda değer değişikliklere sebep olmaktadır. İşletmeler, bilgi teknolojileri ile bir yandan sağlanan hizmetleri verimli sunarken, bir yandan da sunulan hizmetin kanallarının genişletilmesi yoluyla katma değer sağlamaktadır. Küçük ve Orta Büyüklükteki İşletmelerin (KOBİ) uzun dönemde rekabetçi avantaj sağlamaları ve varlıklarını sürdürebilmeleri için sürekli performans artışı yaratmaları temel unsurdur. Yüksek performansa sahip KOBİ’ler kazandıkları rekabetçi avantaj sebebiyle içinde bulundukları ülkenin gelişmesine, uluslararası rekabetçi güçlerinin de artmasını sağlayacaklardır. Performansı eyleme dönüştüren en doğru ve en etkin biçimde kullanmanın yollarından birisi, bilgi teknolojilerinden (BT) yararlanmaktır. KOBİ’ler bu teknoloji ile ürünlerini veya sağladıkları hizmetleri verimli sunarken, diğer taraftan da sunulan hizmetin kanallarının genişletilmesi yoluyla katma değer sağlamaktadırlar. Buna bağlı olarak, hizmet sunulan müşteri profilli de coğrafyadan bağımsızlaşarak değişmekte ve gelişmektedir. Büyüyen ve sürdürülebilir bir iş modeli ile KOBİ’lerin finansal problemlerinden üreterek aşmaları mümkün olacaktır. Çalışmada, bilgi teknolojileri kullanmanın küçük ve orta büyüklükteki işletmelerde verimliliğe katkıları ikincil verilerin ışığında ampirik olarak incelenmiştir.
