Finansal Hizmetlerde Kurumsal Yönetim

Abstract

Bankacılık krizinden sonra Birleşik Krallık yetkilileri tarafından Birleşik Kurumsal Yönetişim Kurallarına (Birleşik Krallık'ın kurumsal yönetişim) ilişkin kural gözden geçirilerek daha etkin ve daha sıkı kurumsal yönetim çerçevesi oluşturuldu. İngiltere'de kurumsal yönetim alanındaki bağımsız regülatör olan Financial Reporting Council, Walker incelemesine paralel olarak değişiklikler yaptı. Bankaların kurumsal yönetimindeki başarısızlıkların finansal krizin ana nedenleri olup olmadığı konusunda son derece tartışmalı bir tartışma var. Çoğu zaman gerçeği ortada. Aslında yönetim kurulu uygulamalarında ve profillerde eksiklikler, tazminat uygulamaları ile risk yönetimi ve iç kontrol hataları yanlış teşviklerden esinlenmiştir. Karmaşık ve opak bank yapıları bu durumu ağırlaştırdı. Bu eksikliklerin katkı rolünün oynadığı dönemde, finansal krize yol açan daha birçok önemli neden de vardı.
