Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Pemanfaatan Limbah Produksi Mebel Menjadi Media Permainan Edukatif di Desa Petekeyan Kabupaten Jepara

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kabupaten Jepara, yang mayoritas penduduknya adalah pengrajin mebel, menghasilkan limbah kayu dalam jumlah besar yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Program ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada pengusaha mebel terkait pemanfaatan limbah kayu menjadi produk bernilai jual tinggi, seperti media permainan edukatif berupa puzzle dengan berbagai bentuk. Metode: Pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Mitra kegiatan adalah Sunni Jati dan Alfara Jati, UMKM industri mebel di Desa Petekeyan, Jepara, dengan peserta berjumlah 26 orang. Hasil: Program menghasilkan beberapa capaian, yaitu: (1) Meningkatkan wawasan pengusaha mebel di Desa Petekeyan terkait pemanfaatan limbah kayu menjadi produk bernilai tinggi; (2) Terwujudnya media permainan edukatif dari limbah kayu; (3) Meningkatnya penjualan dan ketertarikan masyarakat terhadap produk yang dipasarkan secara digital. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan dan pendampingan ini mendapat antusiasme tinggi dari peserta. Pemanfaatan limbah kayu menjadi produk bernilai ekonomi terbukti mampu meningkatkan pendapatan pengusaha mebel di Desa Petekeyan, Jepara, sekaligus mendukung inovasi berbasis lingkungan.
