Abstract

Background: Voluntary testing for key populations is still difficult to access and there is fear in doing HIV testing. A combination of testing, prevention/treatment services is needed for various key groups who are at risk, or living with HIV. Key populations are defined as vulnerable and most at risk populations and have a higher risk of contracting and transmitting HIV infection. Key populations are a key component of comprehensive HIV service delivery. This video aims to increase key population participation in voluntarily testing for HIV so that more information will be obtained so that it can break the chain of transmission Methods: This community service activity was carried out in collaboration with the Intan Maharani Foundation by providing pre-test counseling, during the test and post-test which we also made in the form of educational videos. Results: The desire to participate in voluntary testing for key population groups is very high, but they still have fears about their status if it is open to the public. Conclusions: This counseling is very important to provide correct information regarding voluntary testing, so that this key population does not need to be afraid and worried about their status.
