Mobilidade e Desigualdade de Rendimentos no Brasil: Uma Análise a Partir de Dados Cross Section de 1993 a 2007

Abstract

Este artigo investiga a mobilidade de rendimentos no Brasil, considerando o período anterior e posterior à queda da desigualdade observada no país. Por meio dos dados da Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios (PNAD) do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), são consideradas as trajetórias de rendimentos entre 1993 e 2007 para grupos homogêneos construídos a partir do ano de nascimento, sexo, cor e escolaridade. A estimação é realizada por pseudo-painel dinâmico e os resultados apontam uma maior mobilidade de rendimentos com a inclusão de efeitos de coorte.
