Abstract

Este artigo apresenta um esboço da biografia de David Riazanov, discutindo sua participação na vida política e intelectual russa e, em especial, seu papel na descoberta e publicação do legado literário de Karl Marx e Friedrich Engels, que culminou na primeira tentativa de editar as obras completas destes autores, a Marx Engels Gesamtausgabe (MEGA).
