APostmodernist Reading of Murathan Mungan’s Story- Dumrul ile Azrail

Abstract

This study claims that “Dumrul ile Azrail†by Murathan Mungan has a postmodern text structure and proposes a postmodern reading for the text. The methodology of the analysis is based on Ecevit’s description of postmoden text and her sample analysis. The analysis includes fictive and meta fictive features, intertextuality and temporal structure of the text.
