Abstract

Discussions on Latin America at the panel sessions of the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2024 highlight the main trends in the current regional development: the focus of national governments primarily on addressing domestic social and economic issues, including the involvement of extraregional actors, considering the increased participation of CELAC member countries in the world trading system; the interest of the world economy players in the region’s resources to ensure energy and food security; the dependence of the national economic policies in Latin America on their political ideologies.
