Tools to support exports in foreign countries and their potential application in Russia

Abstract

This article deals with the peculiarities of state support for Russian exporters. Trends in foreign trade and improvement of the state regulation by implementing strategies of economic development are considered. The experience of state export support in the Great Britain and France is reviewed and practices of its application are revealed. The authors also consider the regulatory and legal, as well as organizational aspects of export support in Russia. In particular, they analyze activities of the state executive authorities, the Russian export center and Vnesheconombank, as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the public organizations “Business Russia” and “Support of Russia”.
