Abstract

The article examines the volume and growth trends of foreign divestment of Russian TNCs. The main “geographic directions” of divestment are also analyzed. Specific economic sectors, whose representatives are the leaders in the field of foreign divestment, are singled out. International divestment trends are considered; the history of Russian divesting from foreign companies, its current state and development tendencies are analyzed. Besides, the factors affecting the growth of foreign divestment of Russian TNCs are over viewed. In conclusion, three possible scenarios for the development of divestment of Russian TNCs are presented.
