Abstract

In the article, the authors consider the main forms of the use of intermediary services in the distribution of finished products on the global market, the specifics of using various intermediaries in the commodity markets, identify characteristics of intermediary activities of agency companies,commissioners, exporters, as well as brokerage firms. Some examples of intermediary activities in the world and Russian markets are presented. The article also highlights the principles of choosing intermediaries and options for paying them compensation for intermediary services. Rights and obligations of the intermediaries engaged in international trade are outlined in the article.
