Abstract

The article deals with the use of authentic video materials in teaching legal English discourse.Regular and consistent use of episodes from English legal series in the classroom allows law students to get acquainted with real situations of professional communication where legal discourse is used. The authors describe in detail the method of working with such materials and suggest a number of exercises to be used at different stages of watching the episode.
