Abstract

A complicated problem of the evaluation of illegal capital outflow from Russia is analyzed in the article. The author estimated the general size of the legal and illegal capital outflow. The calculation method of the illegal capital outflow estimations was based on the analyses of items of the Russian balance of payments. The analyses shows, that the fluctuations of the Russian foreign trade turnover corresponded on the whole to the fluctuations of the capital outflow from Russia. The research provides the ground to the conclusion, that a serious problem for our economy is the illegal capital outflow, which limits investment opportunities in Russia, thus contribute to slow economic development.
