Public-Private Partnerships as a Tool to Stimulate Innovation in Science and Technology of the Russian Federation

Abstract

This article discusses the domestic experience of public-private partnership to stimulate innovation activities. It is shown that despite the formal existence in Russia of various institutions of PPP in science and technology, including proven abroad, it is too early to talk about their considerable influence to encourage the commercialization of research and development, public research sector, increasing innovation activity businesses and the effectiveness of government support of research and development in the business sector, the expansion of relationships between entities in the innovation process.
