Abstract

In this text we seek to explore the patterns of structural change in Entre Ríos, considering two aspects: the intersectoral changes that have occurred in this province in the period 1980-2010 and the advances in the weight of activities of greater technical complexity in the employment structure for the period 1996-2022. The aim is to contribute to the knowledge of the growth problem that Entre Ríos has suffered, especially linked to the existence (or not) of a virtuous process of structural change as defined by the Economic Commission for Latin America (ECLAC). This is an exploratory, quantitative, comparative research with the entire country and the rest of the central region, supported by bibliographic, census data and information from the Employment and Business Dynamics Observatory (EBDO).
