Abstract

Firms’ internationalization is a phenomenon of particular relevance given the processes of productivity improving that generates. The aim of this paper is to contribute to the analysis of the international insertion in less developed countries, specifically analyzing the internationalization practices of software and computer services companies in the city of Mar del Plata (Argentina). We use a qualitative methodological approach to analyze the phenomenon from the perspective of the actors involved in it. We believe that results can be useful for public policies designed to support this sector throughout the country.
