Abstract

The paper focuses on one of the current operational programmes in Romania, i.e. the Regional Operational Programme. The aim of the research is to build and run an econometric model which is able to analyze the absorption level for the above-mentioned programme. Following a brief presentation of the research methodology, the paper shows the content of the model together with the main findings based on the available data. The consistency of the model and research findings have been assessed. The model will be further extended to other operational programmes in Romania.
