Abstract

The foreign direct investments’ flows depend not only on the economic resources, structures, mechanisms and performances of host countries, but also on their socio-economic, cultural and political conditions. The objective of this paper is to provide a general framework of the connections between economic and politic freedoms and foreign investment inflows. Also there are provided several empirical evidences of the theoretical findings. The main conclusion of the paper consists in the thesis that the economic and politic freedoms are important determinants of foreign direct investments’ evolution.
