Türk Bankacılık Sektöründe Finansal Performansın Tercih Seçim Endeksi (PSI) Yöntemiyle Analizi

Abstract

Türk bankacılık sektöründe yer alan bankaların finansal performanslarının karşılaştırmalı, bütüncül ve pratik bir şekilde takip edilmesi yapısal nedenlerden dolayı özel bir önem arz etmektedir. Çok kriterli karar verme teknikleri bu ihtiyaca cevap vermektedir. Çalışmanın amacı 2008-2017 dönemi için Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren aktif büyüklüğü en fazla olan on mevduat bankasının finansal performansının ölçümlenmesidir. Çalışmada literatürde yeni bir çok kriterli karar verme tekniği olan Tercih Seçim Endeksi (PSI) yöntemi kullanılarak bankaların önem arz eden 15 adet finansal rasyosu üzerinden finansal performans sıralaması yapılmıştır. Tercih Seçim Endeksi yöntemi kriterlerin ağırlıklandırılmasını genel tercih değerleri adı altında kendi içinde gerçekleştirmektedir. Analiz sonucunda en yüksek endeks değerine sahip olan bankaların Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Ziraat Bankası A.Ş ve Akbank T.A.Ş olduğu, En düşük endeks değerine sahip olan bankaların ise Yapı ve Kredi Bankası A.Ş ile Denizbank A.Ş oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Bir diğer çok kriterli karar verme tekniği olan TOPSIS ile ulaşılan sonuçlar karşılaştırıldığında iki yöntemle elde edilen sıralamalar arasında aynı yönlü güçlü bir ilişki olduğu bulgulanmıştır.
