Regulation of activities of credit institutions in the current crisis

Abstract

During 2013-2015 the Bank of Russia revoked the licenses of 211 credit institutions. In many cases, one of the reasons was the discovery of the facts essential unreliability of the accounting data. For the purpose of reporting distortions is the desire to look more attractive in the eyes of potential investors and customers, the reluctance to form additional reserves to cover possible risks, fear of disclosure of real flows, concealment of the so-called «balance holes», problems with capital and other. The Bank of Russia is a body of banking regulation and supervision over activities of credit organizations.
