Abstract

In the modern world, the problem of the influence of higher education institutions on the economic development of regions is relevant. This article presents the main trends in the influence of universities on the development of the region as a whole. The article deals with the current problems of Universities « influence on financial and economic development at the regional level. The article presents the main functions and tasks of universities, ways to implement the activities of each University aimed at developing the financial, economic, and innovation system of the region under study. The key measures that will contribute to the effective development of the financial and economic potential of the region are identified.
