Un metaodo de analisis economico-financiero explicativo de la eficiencia temporal de las grandes empresas del sector agroalimentario espanol

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es formular un modelo explicativo de la eficiencia de las mayors empresas del sector agroalimentario espanol durante el periodo 1996-2000. Para ello, se ha utilzado un procedimiento bietapico que combina la metodologia DEA, concretamente el metodo de sistema de precios unicos, con la regresion restringida por analisis factorial de datos de panel. El modelo final permite conocer la contribucion y significacion estadistica de variables relacionadas con los resultados economicos y la estructura financiera sobre el comportamiento eficiente de estas empresas... The aim of the present work is to formulate an explanatory model of the efficiency of the biggest companies in the Spanish food industry during the period 1996-2000. To do so a two-step methodology has been used which combines the DEA method, more concretely the system of single prices, with a regression restricted by the factorial analysis of panel data. The final model reveals the contribution and statistical meaning of variables related to the economic results and the financial structure about the efficient behaviour of these firms.
