Mergers and Acquisitions as a Model of Organizational Transformation

Abstract

A large number of directors at the time of crisis tries to buy cheap or take it failed company. Many believe that they will renew the business activity and consolidate that company in the first two years. Practice shows that a very small number of directors achieve their belief into practice. The great economic crisis 2009th was suddenly slowed mergers and acquisitions. In the second half of 2010, we can see signs of recovery this organizational tool to increase corporate performance. It turned out that the weak economy, the newly-purchased company can ensure its own survival by reducing costs, which would impact on reducing the selling price, and thus to improve competitive performance. The paper aims to present the mergers and acquisitions as well as organizational modalities in transformations of different systems and organizations.
