Abstract

The objective of this work is to identify, characterize, analyze, and define different models of decision making in the agricultural sector of the northeast of the province of La Pampa (Argentina). To do this, through a semi-structured survey, we generatedinformation on the productive and socio-family characteristics of agricultural producers in the region, as well as the decision-making processes they implement, both on the technical-productive aspects and economic-financial, in their agricultural exploitations. Then, after considering a broad conceptual framework, we carried out a cross-over and analysis of the variables that allowed different decision-making models to be identified. These models are: “innovative network”; “family-traditional”; “family-business” and “management-administrative”.
