Abstract

The study relates to current and controversial issues of globalization of agribusiness, in particular globalization of EU agriculture. Such issues as the scope and depth of globalization in the individual stages in agribusiness especially in agriculture, the specificity of this process in this sector, the impact of globalization on the EU agriculture and the possible consequences of this process are discussed. Processes so important to the future of EU agriculture, as the concentration in agribusiness, the processes of unification of law in the global system, migration of labour, unification of food consumption patterns, foreign investment in agribusiness and transmission of market signals are analyzed in terms of globalization. The paper ends with remarks on the possible consequences of globalization for agribusiness, and especially the EU agriculture. / Synopsis.
