Abstract

In 2007-2013, clearly increased mineral fertilizer rates in the countries of Central Europe, which resulted largely from the conditions of the world market. The article analyzed the changes prices of selected mineral fertilizers in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, and interdependencies as well as the relative prices of fertilizers to wheat prices. The study showed that price changes in the period took place in the countries surveyed similarly, but the highest price increases, as well as the highest level of prices in the last years of the period reported on the Polish market. Trends in the price ratios of mineral fertilizers for wheat prices in the analyzed countries was similar. For the purchase of the same amount of fertilizer greatest equivalent from the sale of wheat, however, have to allocate farmers from Slovakia. / Synopsis.
