Abstract

The aim of this research was a presentation of the selected determinants in agricultural farms in the European Union. The data from FADN database was used. It enabled the analysis of this matter according to the country of the European Union in years 2004-2011 and in the sections of: economic size and type of farms. It has been shown that the cash flow and the surplus for debt service and self-financing of development on the agricultural farm, reproductive rate, the renewal of fixed assets (excluding land) and a relation of the gross investment to the farm net income vary according to the geographical location of the farm, its economic size and type of farming. / Synopsis.
