Ryzyko kryzysu walutowego a polityka kursowa NBP

Abstract

Duża liczba kryzysów walutowych, które wydarzyły się wdrugiej połowie Iat dziewięćdziesiątych w krajach wschodzących, zmuszała do postawienia py- tania o ryzyko wybuchu kryzysu walutowego w Polsce. Mimo wciąż żywych obaw przed tego rodzaju kryzysem, większość ekonomistów nie sądzi, by wy- buch kryzysu walutowego w Polsce był bliski lub nieuchronny. Jedną z przy- czyn tego stanu rzeczy była prowadzona od kilku lat polityka uelastyczniania kursu złotego [Sławiński 1999].
