Polski Handel Zagraniczny Żywcem Wołowym W Latach 2004-2015

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie zmian w handlu zagranicznym żywcem wołowym w świetle opłacalności jego produkcji w kraju (mierzonej relacją ceny żywca do cen pasz). W ostatnich kilku latach zaobserwowano tendencję do wzrostu dodatniego salda obrotów handlowych produktami wołowymi, przy tendencji spadkowej w eksporcie bydła i jednoczesnym zwiększeniu importu bydła. Spadającym obrotom handlu zagranicznego żywcem wołowym towarzyszyły powolne procesy koncentracji produkcji bydła, wzrost pogłowia bydła w Polsce i znaczny spadek liczby gospodarstw zajmujących się chowem i hodowlą bydła oraz zmieniająca się opłacalność jego produkcji. Relacje cen skupu bydła do 1 roku do cen mieszanki paszowej dla cieląt były najkorzystniejsze dla producentów rolnych w latach 2004-2006, a dla bydła powyżej 1 roku do cen mieszanki paszowej w latach 2005-2006 i 2009. Wzrost produkcji krajowej żywca wynikał m.in. z restrukturyzacji sektora mleczarskiego, likwidacji kwot mlecznych i spadku cen mleka.
