Proces elektryfikacji polskiej wsi – ujęcie historyczne i terytorialne

Abstract

Przedstawiono proces elektryfikacji wsi w Polsce w dwóch ujęciach – historycznym i terytorialnym. Zwrócono uwagę na zróżnicowania międzyregionalne w wyposażeniu wsi w elektryczność, będące wynikiem zmian politycznych dokonujących się w czasie. Dane dotyczące mieszkań podłączonych do instalacji elektrycznej pozyskano ze spisów powszechnych z lat 1960 oraz 1970, objęły one wszystkie tereny wiejskie w 17 wówczesnych województwach. Uzyskane wyniki pozwoliły potwierdzić, że pozaborowe i powojenne zróżnicowania terytorialne w postępie elektryfikacji wsi między relatywnie dobrze wyposażoną Polską zachodnią oraz znacząco zapóźnioną wschodnią i centralną częścią kraju, zostały zniwelowane w procesie powszechnej elektryfikacji wsi, który osiągnął największe natężenie w latach 1955-1975. Starzejąca się sieć elektroenergetyczna wymaga obecnie modernizacji i w tym kontekście dyskutuje się coraz częściej o konieczności współczesnej reelektryfikacji wsi.
