Emisja gazów cieplarnianych (GHG) z perspektywy polskiego sektora rolnego

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest zilustrowanie skali, przedstawienie tendencji zmian w obszarze emisji GHG pochodzących z rodzimego sektora rolnego w latach 1990-2015 oraz przybliżenie źródeł wskazanych emisji. Zmiany klimatu, w tym również globalne ocieplenie, a przede wszystkim kojarzone z nimi konsekwencje natury ekonomicznej i społecznej, z którymi przychodzi się mierzyć globalnej społeczności obecnie oraz spodziewane w przyszłości, stały się zarzewiem dyskursu publicznego i bodźcem do podejmowania działań o charakterze mitygacyjnym, jak i adaptacyjnym. W znacznej mierze dotyczą rolnictwa, sektora, który nie tylko przyczynia się do emisji podstawowych GHG pochodzenia antropogenicznego, ale co także istotne, dysponuje znacznym potencjałem jej ograniczania.
